Frequently Asked Questions

Question: Is the purchase a one time fee or are there other fees involved?

Answer: Once you have purchased Trivia Millionaire, you won't have to spend another penny. Even if you lose your serial numbers, it will usually be possible to resupply them on request, at no extra cost.

Question: If I buy Trivia Millionaire, can I send it to a friend?

Answer: I'm afraid not. When you buy Trivia Millionaire, you are registering it for use by yourself only. If you want to give it as a gift (Trivia Millionaire makes a good birthday or Chrismas present!) that's fine, but you will not then be able to use it yourself, unless you purchase it for yourself. I hope this doesn't sound unreasonable, but a lot of time and money have been spent, and letting people distribute Trivia Millionaire at will would be unwise.

Question: My PC doesn't seem to like DirectX 9. I can't play Trivia Millionaire because Direct X is crashing.

Answer: This may happen with old graphics cards. Often you can download updates of the graphics card driver from the manufacturer's website to solve this problem. Contact me if you need help doing this. Occasionally however, a manufacturer of an old card no longer exists, and therefore the only thing to do is buy a newer graphics card, or not use DirectX. In these circumstances it's unfortunately the manufacturer's mistake in not making the card fully DirectX compatible to begin with, and keeping a graphics card like this will be more and more troublesome as hardware and software evolves.
